About Us

Formed in June 2008, Maitreya CSR Systems Pvt. Ltd. is a company that brings with it years of experience in the development sector, and the burning desire to use innovative ideas to bring about change. We are a Task Force of Social Entrepreneurs, from varied professions and backgrounds who came together to make a difference and bring about sustainable change in social and environmental fields.

Maitreya CSR was founded by Social Worker and Entrepreneur Kavita Muktidoot Kowsik. She is a graduate of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and has worked in the social sector since 1974. She is trained in Attitudinal Healing from the Netherlands, and is a Certified Social Accountant & Social Auditor, Certified Environmental Impact Assessor, Certified Rain Water Harvesting Consultant and Business Entrepreneur.
